We've always been one of the leaders when it comes to technology, especially for our corporate clients. That's why we've received four 'eee' ratings for our corporate products from the Financial Technology Research Centres' e-excellence awards, produced in association with Money Marketing.
One of the elements of this award winning technology is our pension scheme websites. These sites have been in place for nearly 5 years now and provided thousands of employees with information about their company pension and the importance of saving for the future.
But the demand for information has grown and we need to make sure that we continue to provide new and existing scheme members with the information they need, when they need it.
So we've recently taken the opportunity to update and improve the sites and now offer:
- improved content that explains what a company pension is and the importance of saving for the future in more detail.
- use of plain language with very little jargon to help understanding. Where we've used jargon we've provided a clear explanation.
- New and improved interactive tools including inflation buster and target benefit calculators as well as our investment risk profiler.
We'll also be offering access to two new sites, MyMoneyPal and mydiscountclub. MyMoneyPal provides generic financial information based on lifestyle and lifestages, increasing employees financial knowledge further. While mydiscountclub provides a long list of money saving benefits from holidays to hire cars and home improvements. This gives employees a reason to return to the site again and again.
The new sites will continue to be hosted on the AEGON Scottish Equitable network and maintained by us, meaning no extra work for you or your corporate clients.
We still offer generic sites for both group personal pension and stakeholder pension schemes. And they're still completely free.

Don't worry, they won't miss out on these great improvements. Over the next 3-4 months we'll be working on a programme to migrate existing sites to our new style. The website address they have won't change either.
