What kind of browser do I need?
We've designed this site to meet current web standards and it's browser independent. For maximum compatibility we recommend you use one of the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 5.5 and above
- Netscape Navigator 6.2 and above
- Opera 6 and above
- Mozilla Firefox
The site may work in lower versions but certain features may display incorrectly.
What are your security levels?
We use 128-bit encryption for all our online services, which is the highest level of security. The security settings on your browser may have a lower level of encryption. If you don't have 128-bit encryption enabled, you may see a 'page not found' message when you try to register or log in to our online services.
How do I print out web pages?
To print any of the pages on our site please select the print option in your browser file menu.
How do I download a file?
All downloadable files in this site are PDFs (Portable Document Format). To be able to open and view these files you must have Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your computer. If you don't have this, you can download it free of charge from www.adobe.com
Why can't I see all of the page on my screen?
This may be due to the screen resolution not being set to the optimum setting for viewing this site. We've designed the site for a screen resolution of 800x600. If your screen resolution is less than this then you won't be able to see all of the page. See your computer's help facility for instructions on how to change your screen resolution.
How do I change the text size on screen?
You can increase the size of the text through your browser if you have problems reading the text. Please see our accessibility section for instructions.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file which is placed on your computer by a website. Essentially, it allows that website to recognise you as an individual user. This means the website can store information about you, such as user preferences, or take you step-by-step through a registration process. It may also track the pages you visit on the site.
We currently use cookies on our websites.
You can find more information about cookies, including how to block them and/or delete them, at http://www.aboutcookies.org/.
Who can I contact with technical difficulties?
