We have a number of tools to help advisers in the advice process. We've recently been awarded a prestigious triple 'e' award for our range of adviser tools for the third year running. This is the highest award achievable in the Financial Technology Research Centre's excellence awards produced in association with Money Marketing.

Learn all about the taxation of onshore and offshore bonds with our Bonds taxation interactive training course. The course aims to:

• clearly explain what a bond is
• emphasise the significance of choosing the correct tax calculation for working out the gain on a bond
• explain the difference between calculating a partial withdrawal and a full cash-in (surrender) of individual segments, and show which is the most appropriate calculation to use for each individual case
• reduce the number of errors made by clearly outlining the process for calculating the gain on a bond and explaining the subsequent tax rules which apply

You'll then be given output comparing the three versions, detailing term of investment up to 20 years, fund value, cash-in value and reduction in yield for each version. All you have to then do is look along the table to see which version gives the best growth rate based on the term of investment.
