Online capability

We appreciate technology is important. That’s why we’re continually developing our online services.

In November 2007, our online bond offering won a triple ‘e’ rating in the Financial Technology Research Centre’s e-excellence awards produced in association with Money Marketing. And that was before we launched our new quote and new business extranet service.

Quotes

You can carry out quotes for Investment Control on our own extranet service, available through our online services, or you can use the portals Assureweb and The Exchange.

Our extranet service gives you maximum flexibility when quoting for Investment Control. There’s no limit to the structure you can select and you can even quote for our money-back guarantees.

Submissions

As with quotes, you can submit your Investment Control applications on our extranet service, or you can use Assureweb or The Exchange.

If you submit the application online, we’ll pay you an extra 0.25% commission at no cost to your client. Or, if you don’t want the extra commission, we can offset this against the charges or increase the allocation.

Contract enquiry

You can populate your back-office systems with information about your clients’ bonds using the following software providers:

• 1st Software
• Quay
• Intelliflo
• The Exchange
• Plum

This service gives you the following information:

• fund value
• funds invested in
• basic policy information such as proposal date, investment amount and personal details

Bond View

You and your clients can use our secure Bond View service, which is available on our extranet and shows:

• the current value of the bond
• the cash-in value of the bond
• the client’s personal details
• regular withdrawal details
• the funds invested in

It also allows requests to change personal details or the funds invested in.
