On 5 April 2007 there was an article on ifaonline.co.uk with the headline IFAs lack tools to advise on with-profits. Well, that's no longer the case since we launched our With-Profits Analyser.

So what is the With-Profits Analyser?

• allows you to carry out a mini-review or a full review
• uses stochastic modelling to assess future trends in investment markets and to predict possible investment returns
• has an in-built risk profiler if you're unsure about your client's current attitude towards risk
• forecasts against an alternative investment based on your client's current risk profile
• produces an independent report that you can base your advice on and pass on to your client, enabling you to comprehensively answer the FSA's 10 questions
• has output that you can use as an audit trail to your review
• has the facility to build in future review dates
