Speeding up the application process
We know that waiting for an underwriting decision can be frustrating. So, we’ve added tele-underwriting to our proposition to help speed up the process.
If your clients disclose a medical condition and our underwriters need more information we might decide to ask for a tele-interview instead of a GP’s report. All of our tele-interviews are carried out by qualified nurses, using a third-party company, Morgan Ash.
What are the benefits?
- Time savings – tele-underwriting will reduce the turnaround time of your clients’ applications as there’s no need to wait for a GP’s report to be returned to us.
- Increased disclosures – the quantity and quality of disclosures should increase.
- Clients will feel more at ease – talking to a qualified nurse will give them the reassurance they need and make them feel at ease when they’re giving personal details about their health.
- Quicker commission payments – as we’ll be turning around more of your clients’ applications quicker, you’ll receive your commission payment a lot sooner too.
