Age Discrimination

The Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006 came into force, for everything except pensions, on 1 October 2006. They make it illegal for employers to discriminate on any aspect of employment, including benefits, on the grounds of their employees' age, or apparent age, unless this can be objectively justified.
